Privacy Policy — Jigsaw
Last updated: September 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Jigsaw Puzzle Games (“Jigsaw,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use our mobile app on Android or iOS.
App name: Jigsaw
Android package: com.vinh.jigsaw
1. About the app
Jigsaw is a free puzzle game. You can:
- Play built-in jigsaw puzzles from our image library
- Turn a photo from your device into a puzzle (stored on your device)
- Track local progress such as solved puzzles, streaks, and best times
- Change language and sound settings
- See banner and interstitial ads
- Optionally receive a local reminder to come back and play
- See other apps from the same developer
- Share a finished puzzle or the app using your device’s share sheet
- Rate the app through the App Store or Google Play in-app review prompt
The app does not create user accounts, use Game Center, use the camera, or sell in-app purchases or subscriptions at this time.
2. Information we collect
We do not require you to create an account or send us your name, email, or photos.
Stored only on your device
- Puzzle progress (solved puzzles, streaks, best time/moves, last played)
- Audio and language settings
- Whether a reminder or in-app review was already shown
- Photos you import for “My Photos” puzzles (saved in the app’s private storage)
- Ad frequency data (for example, when the last interstitial was shown)
This data stays on your device unless you back up or share the device. Uninstalling the app deletes it, except photos you chose to save to your gallery.
Processed by third parties when you use ads or the network
- Advertising identifiers (Android Advertising ID; iOS IDFA only if you allow tracking)
- IP address, device type, OS version, app version, and approximate location derived from IP
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks, consent choices)
- A request to our catalog server so we can show “more apps from this developer”
We do not run our own analytics or crash-reporting SDK in the current app. Google and advertising partners may collect data as described in their policies.
3. Photos and media
If you choose Use my photo, the app asks the system photo picker for one image. We do not browse your full library in the background.
- Imported photos are copied into the app’s local files so you can replay that puzzle.
- They are not uploaded to our servers.
- You may save or share a finished puzzle image through the system gallery or share sheet. That file then lives on your device or with the app you share to.
- The app does not use the camera.
You can revoke photo access in your device settings. Already imported copies stay in the app until you delete them or uninstall.
4. Advertising
The app shows Google AdMob banner and interstitial ads. Ads help keep the game free.
To request ads we use:
- Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) — in regions that require it (for example EEA/UK), a consent form appears before ads load. You can accept or refuse personalized ads.
- Apple App Tracking Transparency (ATT) on iOS — we may ask to use the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) to deliver personalized ads. You can Allow or Ask App Not to Track.
- Android Advertising ID — used for advertising on Android, subject to your Google Play ads settings.
If you refuse tracking or personalized ads, you can still see ads. They are more likely to be non-personalized, which usually means lower relevance.
Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, advertising IDs, and similar technologies to serve, measure, and personalize ads. We do not set a child-directed or “G-rated only” ad restriction. The app is for a general audience, not children.

5. Developer catalog and website
The app may load a list of our other apps from https://healthplate.org/api/projects. That request can include a standard user-agent (app name/version) and your IP address as seen by the server. We use this only to show the catalog and operate the site. We do not sell this data.
6. Notifications
If you turn on the comeback reminder, the app schedules a local notification on your device. We do not send server push notifications (no Apple Push Notification service or Firebase Cloud Messaging in the current app).
You can turn the reminder off in Settings or disable notifications in the system settings.
7. Sharing, ratings, and store services
- Share uses the system share sheet. We do not receive the people you share with.
- Rate may open Google Play In-App Review or the App Store review flow. Those stores process the request under their own policies.
8. How information is used
- Run the puzzle game and remember your progress
- Show ads and measure whether they loaded
- Honor your consent and tracking choices
- Show our other apps
- Remind you to play if you enabled that option
- Let you share or save a completed image
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your imported photos for advertising.
9. Third-party services
These parties may process data when you use the related feature:
Their policies apply to data they collect.
10. Data retention and security
- Local game data remains on the device until you clear app data or uninstall.
- Imported photos remain in the app until you remove them or uninstall.
- Images you save to the gallery stay in your gallery until you delete them.
- Ad and consent records are kept by Google according to Google’s policies.
- Catalog requests to healthplate.org are standard web logs (for example IP and user-agent) retained only as needed to operate the site.
We use HTTPS for network requests. We do not operate user accounts or store your photos on our servers.
11. Your choices
- Change or withdraw ad consent (UMP form where required; reset advertising ID in device settings)
- On iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Jigsaw
- On Android: Google settings → Ads → Delete advertising ID / opt out of ads personalization
- Turn off notifications in the app or system settings
- Revoke photo access in system settings
- Uninstall the app to delete local app data
If you are in the EEA, UK, or a similar region, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data, and to withdraw consent. For ads, use the consent form and Google’s tools. For anything we control, email us at the address below.
12. Children’s privacy
Jigsaw is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where that is the local digital-consent age). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe a child has provided personal information through this app, contact us and we will delete it where we can. Parents should use device parental controls if they do not want a child to use the app.
13. International users
Advertising and store services may process data in the United States or other countries. If you use the app from the EEA, UK, or similar regions, that transfer is handled by those providers under their safeguards (for example Google’s terms). Our catalog site may also see your IP when the app loads other apps.
