Privacy Policy

Chess Game Vinh Tam Tan Effective October 25, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Chess Game for Android (“the App”) handles information. The App is a single-player and same-device two-player chess game directed to children. Everyone gets the same child-directed experience. We do not create accounts, and we do not ask for a name, email, birth date, or other contact details inside the App.

1. Who we are

Chess Game is published by Vinh Tam Tan. Android package: com.vinh.chessgameforkids.

Questions about this policy: johnnyvinhtam@gmail.com

2. Audience

The App is made for children. It does not ask for age or a birth date, and it does not offer a separate experience for teens or adults. Ads, reminders, and the rest of the App work the same way for every player.

3. Information stored on your device

Gameplay happens on your device. The App stores settings and progress locally, for example:

This information stays on your device unless you back up the device, for example with Android Auto Backup. Uninstalling the App usually deletes it. We do not send this information to our servers.

4. Information we do not collect

5. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App shows banner and interstitial ads from Google AdMob (Google LLC). Every ad request is child-directed.

Child-directed ads for everyone

Ads are tagged as directed to children and as under the age of consent. They are limited to a general audience (G) rating. The App does not request interest-based or personalized ads, it does not use the Android Advertising ID to serve ads, and it does not show an advertising consent form.

To deliver those child-directed ads, Google may receive technical data such as IP address and device information under its own policies. That data is not used by us to build a profile.

Ad partners may process data as independent controllers under their own policies. We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. Other apps catalog

If you open More apps, the App requests a list of our other apps from healthplate.org/api/projects. That request can include standard technical data such as IP address, device and OS information, and a short app user-agent (ChessGame/1.0). It does not include a name, birth date, or account. It is used only to show our portfolio and is not a social or account service.

7. Notifications

Optional local reminders can remind you to play. They are scheduled on your device. We do not send push notifications from our own servers. You can turn reminders off in Settings and in system notification settings.

8. Store, share, and rate features

Rate, review, and share use Google Play and the system share sheet. Google handles any data under its own policies.

9. Children

The App is directed to children, including children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. We do not ask for a birth date. We do not use the Android Advertising ID. Settings and game progress stay on the device.

If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us and we will delete it where we can.

10. Legal bases (EEA, UK, and Switzerland)

Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on:

The App does not ask children for consent to personalized advertising, because it does not serve personalized ads.

11. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. A parent or guardian may contact us to exercise these rights for a child. Because we do not run user accounts, we may have little or no personal data about you beyond what ad partners hold.

California residents: we do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Ads in the App are child-directed and are not personalized.

12. Data retention and security

Local App data remains until you clear it or uninstall. Ad and catalog providers keep data under their own retention rules. We use standard platform security. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

13. International transfers

Google and other partners may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, they use safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. See their policies for details.

14. Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will change. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
